VetRelief Handbook
The "VetRelief Handbook" is an easy to read 13 page handbook.
We think it is a must read and should be included in anyone's library who does
relief work, or hires relief veterinarians. We suggest that its premises be followed by
relief veterinarians.

Lease Per Day (LPD)
LPD is a legal concept. It is introduced in the "Independent Contractors' Manual for Relief Veterinarians". On the job relief veterinarians participate in LPD in lieu of furnishing their own instruments and supplies. You may download a free copy of this manual from the home page at www.VetRelief.com.

Relief vet medical & surgical kit
What are your recommendations for compiling instruments, supplies and other belongings to carry and use on the job?
Based upon "The Independent Contractors Manual for Relief Veterinarians" the ownership of the equipment and supplies used on the job may be a crucial factor in determining a relief veterinarian's employment status (Independent Contractor vs Employee).
